Going Fractional

Towards the end of 2024 I made a decision to take on a new challenge: Fractional GTM & Marketing Advisory. My goals were:

 

  • A steady stream of new and dynamic roles and environments that keep things fresh

  • Domain expertise acceleration, as I'd be learning from my clients just as much as they would be learning from me

  • Greater control over my career destiny and workload

 

As I look back on the first half of 2025, I'm thrilled to confirm that fractional has delivered on all three fronts!

 

Moreover, the support, encouragement, and indeed business opportunities that have come from my network has been incredible and immensely validating.

 

A big shout-out to @ericrudolph for showing me the ropes, @saragrigs and @martyroberts for being the best sounding boards I could hope for, and @jennifergriifinsmith for her unwavering support. Last but by no means least, a big thank you to the good folks over at @THLPartners for embracing the model.

 

What's next?

 

Well, for those who know me, you'll know I thrive in transformational environments.

 

I'm a fixer, especially suited to small and medium-sized B2B software companies. These organizations typically need support with some combination of GTM Strategy, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, or Marketing Operations. I dig deep and uncover solutions. I am a hands-on player/coach whose goal is to drive long lasting and impactful transformation and handover to renewed, energized in-house teams quickly and seamlessly.
